No Way This Waits Until the Weekend!

OK, I checked my myspace page last night, and my sister Heidi emailed me this video. There is no way that I could wait until Friday to post it as my weekend video. It had to make an appearance now. So feel free to keep the comments flowing about Lisa slowly killing my car's battery, but you must watch this video.

If I ever have the pleasure of visiting Japan, I would love to sit as an audience member on one of their game shows. They are all about humiliating the contestants, which in turn makes for very funny television. I would have never guessed that sliding doors together could be turned into a game show, but for some strange reason it works. Happy hump day!

Hahaha...That was silly and funny! There are a lot of TV shows of such a kind here in Japan. I don't like natto(fermented soybeans)which have a bad smell, but my husband likes it very much :)
Have a nice day!

Unbelievably funny! If I lived in Japan I'd be so completely hooked on the crazy game shows...

Do you remember about 4-5 years ago, Fox had a show called Banzai that mimmicked the Japanese game show antics... They had a segment called "Old Lady Chicken Challenge" where it was two old ladies on scooters playing chicken.... And another one where they had fat guys sit on chairs that had one leg sawed off and placed back on, and you "place your bet" on which one falls first...

I loved it, so naturally it was cancelled after like three episodes.

Than they get any weirder than that. No. They crack me up at the nonsense of their antics. I am always catching a sneak at their madness. They have shows now I noticed copying and then sending USA people over there to do their shows.

Thanks for the laugh Donald.

Why was this so hilarious to me? Who knew I'd be a sucker for Japanese Game Shows. Why are they dressed up in those ridiculous costumes? Just adds to the funny. Thanks for the laugh this morning!

I don't know whether to think, funny?, or disgusting? I guess I'll do what the producers expect me to do and feel a little of both.

And you still don't need a new car.

I am truly disturbed. What was that?? Funny, I guess. But 'strange' would be a more choice word of description. Love you.

I'm speechless.

The bad breath lady scares me.
Why the outfits?
Why doors?

I'm speechless.

WOW. There are no words. Except to say that I have a new respect for American TV.

Pretty funny...I still don't really get why they were dressed up as bugs though. I admit that it did add to the silliness. Look up "Japanese Bathroom pranks" on youtube, you won't believe what those shows get away with doing to people in public. It's hilarious.
Also, in response to the post you left on our blog: we are pretty happy with the all girl curse too. What do you even do with a boy?
